Electric Boogaloo
Electric Boogaloo is a simple game concept about managing power running through a constantly evolving town. Can you supply electricity to citizens while constantly keeping their happiness in check?
Buildings
- Solar Panel - the simplest form of energy production.
- Coal Plant - an upgraded energy source, though generates annoyance when built next to residential homes.
- Nuclear Plant - the most advanced and energy-rich power generation method, though living near one doesn't make for the best experience.
- Pole - transfers power between buildings. If buildings are left unpowered, they will generate annoyance.
Annoyance
Annoyance is a mechanic which - if left unchecked - will result in a swift game-over. The goal is to manage annoyance so that it doesn't reach its max.
Cards
After some time passes, the player will be presented with a choice between cables and an electricity-producing building. The key is to adapt to the current needs - is the player short on cables, or electricity?
